Furbearers topic of meeting program

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources assistant furbearer specialist Erinn Keisow-Webb will present a program about Wisconsin’s furbearing mammals at the Friends of the Black River Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022 meeting. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. in The Hub at the Lunda Community Center. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Furbearers include species as mink, weasels, fishers, beavers, raccoons and even skunks and opossum. Fox and coyotes are also considered furbearers as are bobcats and lynx. For more information about the program or FBR, email info_fbr@yahoo.com or on FBR’s Facebook page.
