The Friends of the Black River will hold a guided prairie wildflower walk beginning at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 14 on property managed by Steve Humphrey. The address for the property is N8577 Shannon Valley Road, Black River Falls. The walk is free and open to the public. Any participants wanting to carpool or caravan to the site should meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Thiesen’s Supply parking lot on State Hwy 54 in Black River Falls. The walk is anticipated to last about an hour. Rain date will be Wednesday, July 15.
