Wildfires will be topic of Friends of the Black River March program

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources forestry team leader Eric Zenz and forestry specialist Amy Luebke will present a program on wildfire risk in the Black River Falls area at the Friends of the Black River’s March 8. The meeting will be held in the Jackson County Bank beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The DNR forestry agents will discuss steps residents can take to protect their property and how to prevent wildfires. Their program will also include an overview of the 1977 Brockway Fire.
