The history of logging, ice events and steam power on the Black River will be the topic of the April Friends of the Black River meeting. Robert Taunt, river historian from La Crosse will present “Logs, Ice & Steam on the Black River” Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in The Hub at the Lunda Community Center beginning at 6:30 p.m. The program is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
