The Friends of the Black River will co-host a guided prairie wildflower walk Tuesday, July 15, 2025, on the Tim Bodeen property beginning at 6 p.m. The Bodeen property is located at 1040 Pine Street, Black River Falls. The walk is open to the public and any participants wanting to carpool or caravan to the site should meet at 5:30 p.m. in Black River Falls Area Chamber of Commerce parking lot at 120 N. Water Street, Black River Falls. The walk is anticipated to last about an hour. Rain date will be Wednesday, July 16.
