The Friends of the Black River will hold its annual movie night Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024. The evening will start with a social time at 5:30 p.m. and the movie showing at 6 p.m.
The movie, “Our Planet, Behind the Scenes,” will be shown. The documentary is a four-year filming endeavor exploring the natural wonders, iconic species and wildlife spectacles still remaining and reveals the key issues threatening their existence. The film was made through a collaboration of Netflix, Silverback Films and World Wildlife Federation.
Attendees can help FBR celebrate its 20th anniversary by enjoying pizza, popcorn, beverage and cake. There will also be displays of the organization’s activities and accomplishments over the two decades.
The event will be held in The Hub at the Lunda Community Center. The community center is located at 405 State Highway 54, Black River Falls.
A freewill admission of $10 for adults 18 and older will be accepted; youth under 18 years admitted free.
