The Friends of the Black River will hold its annual wildflower hike Saturday, May 13 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Each spring, the conservation organization sponsors a hike for those interested in learning to identify spring wildflowers blooming in the Black River watershed.
Those interested in carpooling to the trail head are asked to meet at 9 a.m. at the Black River Area Chamber of Commerce parking lot. The parking lot is located at 120 N. Water Street, Black River Falls.
There’s no charge to join the hike. The trail is considered easy walking and the hike will last about an hour.
