Driftless Region documentary will be shown at movie night

The Friends of the Black River invites the public to a showing of the newly released “Decoding the Driftless,” a documentary about the state’s Driftless Region. The movie will be shown Tuesday, Dec. 4, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Black River Falls Middle School’s Large Group Instruction Room.

The movie is the second filmed by the Emmy-award winning team that produced Mysteries of the Driftless. The film takes viewers on an adventure over, under and on some of the remarkable geological features of the region. Those features include sinkholes and caves, rivers and streams and ridge tops and blufflands.

A social with refreshments will be held before the movie presentation at 6 p.m. Admission is $10 per person. For more information, email info_fbr@yahoo.com.
