Two films planned for movie night

The Friends of the Black River will hold its annual movie night Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in The Hub at the Lunda Community Center. The community center is located at 405 State Highway 54, Black River Falls. Social time will begin at 6 p.m. with movie showings starting at 6:15 p.m.

The public is invited to enjoy two films. One film is Canoeing the Black River filmed by Black River Falls native Jack Taylor showing his family taking a canoe trip down the river and the second will be a David Attenborough film titled “Freedom to Roam.”

Attendees can enjoy pizza, popcorn and beverage as they watch the documentaries. Admission will be a $10 freewill donation from adults 18 years and older, under 18, no donation.
