Those wanting help with installing clean energy upgrades can learn more about assistance available through the Affordable Clean Energy Plan at the Wednesday, November 13, 2024 FBR meeting.
Quinn Rowe, Federal Clean Energy Campaign Manager with the Wisconsin Conservation Voters, will present a program about the ACEP beginning at 6:30 p.m. in The Hub in the Lunda Community Center.
The community center is located at 405 State Highway, Black River Falls. The program is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
The ACEP is the largest investment in clean energy in world history. It dedicates $370 billion dollars to help homeowners, renters, local governments, school, small businesses and others to transition away from fossil fuels toward clean energy. The federal program offers incentives in clean energy tax credits and through rebate programs.
Rebates can be obtained for such upgrades as EnergyStar appliances, home insulation, heat pumps, windows and exterior doors.
