The results of a study to reclaim sand mines and convert them to prairie habitat will be the topic of the Friends of the Black River’s November meeting. The program will be presented Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Jackson County Bank community room beginning at 6:30 p.m.
UW-River Falls’ geology and soil science professor Dr. Holly Dolliver and Chippewa County conservationist and forest manager Dan Masterpole will present the program.
