The public is invited to the Friends of the Black River annual holiday movie night. This year’s film will be “One Planet.”
The New Visionary documentary will be shown Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, beginning at 6 p.m. in The Hub at the Lunda Community Center. The LLC is located at 405 State Hwy 54, Black River Falls.
“One Planet” is the first film in the BBC nature series, “Our Planet.” Narrated by British naturalist David Attenborough, the documentary was filmed in 50 countries over four years. The film’s unsurpassed videography has close-up images of the planet’s inhabitants in their native habitats. The 50—minute documentary includes messages of how human activities impact the environment.
The evening’s admission includes the movie showing, pizza and other refreshments.
