FBR to hold annual movie night

The Friends of the Black River will hold its annual movie night with the showing of “One Strange Rock.” The film will be shown Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022 in The Hub at the Lunda Community Center. The LLC is located at 405 State Hwy 54, Black River Falls.

The public is invited to the film showing and guests can enjoy pizza, soft drinks and popcorn. Freewill offering of $10 for adults and $5 for youth 11-18 will be accepted. Social time begins at 5:30 p.m. with the film to begin at 6:15 p.m.

The first of a 10-part television series, “One Strange Rock” tells of how life survives and thrives on planet Earth. Hosted by Will Smith, the actor is joined by eight astronauts who share their unique perspective of seeing their home planet from a distance for an extended amount of time. The film explores the wonder of the planet as one of the most peculiar, unique places in the universe.
