Calling all paddlers – the Friends of the Black River will host a flatwater paddle Sunday, May 20, 2018, on the Black River starting at noon with put-in at Cormican Landing (on the southwestern edge of Al Young Park) to Mason’s Landing, about a one-and-a-half hour trip. Kayakers, canoers and rafters are welcome to take part.
FBR will also join the Mad City Paddlers for the Robinson Creek Preservation Association for the organization’s annual paddle Saturday, June 9, at 11 a.m. Put-in will be at Old County Highway I.
A whitewater paddle will take place below the Hatfield dam Saturday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

FBR will also hold its annual Paddle in the Park Saturday, June 30, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. as part of Festival in the Park activities.
