Jackson County residents offered an opportunity to recycle unused electronics!
The public is invited to bring their old, worn-out electronics to Jackson Electric Cooperative’s Electronic Recycling Drive on Tuesday, October 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a great way to help the environment by keeping these potentially toxic items out of the landfills, thereby protecting our waterways as well!
5R Processors Ltd. from Ladysmith, WI is partnering with Jackson Electric Cooperative for the disposal of unwanted, unused, and nonworking electronic equipment.
The seventh principle of a cooperative is “Concern for Community”. By giving the residents of Jackson County an option to recycle their unused electronics they will also be benefitting the environment. Recycling is the best method of handling unwanted electronics as it benefits future generations by protecting our water and air quality.
