Hansen Landing Picnic Table Project

A new picnic table has landed at the Hanson Canoe Landing.

Crafted by Basil Holder the beautiful sturdy octagonal table has been water sealed and will age to a natural gray.  The landing was leveled and fresh gravel fill added before the picnic table was installed. Mary Hansen, who’s family has cooperated with Friends of the Black River and West Wisconsin Land Trust in protecting this site and providing public access to the Black River, will store the table from fall until spring floods have passed. So bring your family, bring your picnic to the Irving site and enjoy the riverside view.
