The event gives youngsters of all ages the chance to try kayaking. Kayaks and standup paddle boards along with safety gear will be provided.

The paddle will take place from the Hatfield Dam to Halls Creek. Paddlers can meet at West Clay School Road off County Hwy. K with put in time of 10 a.m.  

A flat-water paddle on the Black River is planned for Sunday, May 21, 2017, from Brickyard Landing to Halls Creek. Paddlers are asked to meet at 12:30 p.m. near the Hatfield Powerhouse off Powerhouse Road.
Kayaks and paddling gear can be supplied for those needing equipment.
